>Bunny Narrator: Make Announcement

Alright. Here's the DEAL.

This comic hasn't updated in at least TWO MONTHS, and the last update was a LAME EXCUSE for a BIRTHDAY PRESENT.

There is a REASON for this and that REASON is simple. NIV has lost any and all motivation she may have had for this COMIC.

SO, in TRUE MSPA STYLE, I'll give you a WALL OF TEXT about what would have happened in the events of the comic. BRACE YOURSELVES.

----

FAITE, AARON and GLANDOR engage in combat with the LUZON. After a battle, GLANDOR blinds the LUZON and places the NECKLACE around its neck.

They RETURN TO FAITE'S HOUSE, where AARON and PANDORA briefly reunite, then tell FAITE and GLANDOR where the next ELEMENTAL DUNGEON is. FAITE and GLANDOR make their way to SANDY CASTLE, a... SAND CASTLE. They enter the CASTLE, free BEXUSH, the SPIRIT of the RED SOUL SHARD, who uses DARK and FIRE techniques, then with his help defeat the LIGHT STAR boss of the dungeon.

They RETURN TO FAITE'S HOUSE, a reunion is had, the next dungeon is revealed.

At this point, I am OFFICIALLY INTRODUCED as JAX NOVA, therefore becoming OFFICIALLY PLAYABLE and taking my place in the BANNER and CHARACTER PAGE. I make my way to the next ELEMENTAL DUNGEON of my OWN ACCORD, perhaps just to GET AWAY from my irritating creator. I MEET UP with FAITE and GLANDOR, and JOIN THEIR PARTY. We ENTER the next DUNGEON, the FIRE DUNGEON, and rescue CRYSTAL, SPIRIT of the BLUE SOUL SHARD, user of WATER TECHNIQUES, and beat the boss of that dungeon.

Back to FAITE'S, REUNION, ETC.

We make our way to the NEXT DUNGEON. It is the TERRAFLORA dungeon. We have to BEAT THE BOSS on our own this time; only then do we free YESUMO, the YELLOW SOUL SHARD and user of ELECTRICITY.

At this point, PERSPECTIVE switches to the final playable character, SANIDA SUCHI. She finally INTRODUCES HERSELF, thus taking her place in the BANNER and CHARACTER PAGE. She has decided to try and find the ELEMENTAL DUNGEONS to get inspiration for her LIVING DATA program, and in doing so, meets up with the PARTY on their way to the WATER DUNGEON. She JOINS THE PARTY.

We arrive at the WATER DUGEON, discovering the place is... well, FLOODED. SANIDA and I have to SPLIT OFF OF THE PARTY to enter it, since SANIDA is a user of WATER SKILLS, as well as an ARCHER, and I am IMAGINARY and not affected by the LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE. We ENTER and free EMERALD, SPIRIT of the GREEM SOUL SHARD and user of WIND, who helps us make a path to get out. This PISSES OFF the boss and we re-join FAITE and GLANDOR to fight it.

We take EMERALD back to FAITE'S HOUSE. The group expresses worry at our FINAL DESTINATION, the ELECTRICITY DUNGEON. They make sure we're RESTED and STOCKED ON SUPPLIES, then give us their SOUL SHARDS, wish us LUCK, and send us on our way.

We ARRIVE at a very broken down ELECTRICITY DUNGEON. The place is very DANGEROUS and a MAJOR CHALLENGE, and at one point we have to be RESCUED by VIOLA, the SPIRIT of the PINK SOUL SHARD and user of TERRAFLORA. She expresses WORRY at the fact that the BOSS of the DUNGEON has already been SLAIN and that we should FLEE before the one who SLAY the boss shows up.

Unfortunately, MURPHY'S LAW kicks in around then, and DAMARU makes his entrance. He warns us that we should not BE HERE, and tells us to GET LOST. FAITE, perhaps out of ANGER at everything that has happened, throws ICE at him and DEMANDS an explanation as to what is going on. VIOLA freaks out, handing SANIDA her SOUL SHARD before FLEEING. DAMARU says it's none of our BUSINESS and tells us again to GET LOST before there are SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES. Naturally, WE REFUSE.

At this point, DAMARU is OVERCOME by SILVER FIRE. His form CHANGES to a SILVER PHOENIX who proceeds to ATTACK US. After a LONG AND HARD BATTLE, all of us except for GLANDOR are KNOCKED OUT. The SILVER PHOENIX, SILVERADO, cackles that GLANDOR has NO CHANCE of winning and it would take a MIRACLE to DEFEAT HIM. GLANDOR has a RUSH OF CONFIDENCE, saying that there was already one - he had been KISSED BY A GIRL and had proven that he WASN'T USELESS. After PEGGING SILVERADO with his POCKET LINT, he uses the SOUL SHARDS to weaken SILVERADO enough for DAMARU to REGAIN CONTROL of his body. DAMARU thanks GLANDOR and bids him FAREWELL before vanishing.

GLANDOR brings the PARTY back to FAITE'S HOUSE, where PANDORA explains that the SOUL SHARDS were originally created to defeat SILVERADO. Under his INFLUENCE, DAMARU kidnapped FAITE'S SIBLINGS, putting them in the ELEMENTAL DUNGEONS where they would have no chance of being RESCUED, never mind FOUND. UNFORTUNATELY, or perhaps FORTUNATELY, DAMARU realized WHAT WAS GOING ON, and asked VIOLA, whose GHOSTLY ABILITIES would allow her to sneak in and out of her PRISON, to inform FAITE and PANDORA what was going on, thus LAUNCHING THE STORY.

SANIDA becomes inspired by the EVENT and the DUNGEONS she was with the PARTY to explore, and decides to give her creation WATER and ELECTRICITY TECHNIQUES. Muttering something about naming it RUPPHIRYA, she leaves. GLANDOR and I say our FAREWELLS to FAITE, then head back to TEAM SMG HQ to tell MATT AND SHARD what happened. They are SKEPTICAL at FIRST, until FAITE shows up to talk to GLANDOR. The two have a short REUNION, and talk BRIEFLY, until FAITE tells GLANDOR she's PREGNANT.

Cue JAWDROPS.

Cue END.

And thus it ends.
Sorry to cancel it like this, but as I said, I have absolutely no inspiration at all to work on this anymore.

I may make another CYOA at some point in the future, but as of right now it's doubtful. Busy with other things, you see.

So... I hope you enjoyed what went on up until this point, and the story that would have happened had I continued.

...

you do not know how hard it was to resist typing in caps during this post seriously.

I see a chance for a rail-jump when Damaru enters if the players decided to comply and left, thus completely skipping the final boss. Barring all the exits would just make people question why Darmaru was telling them to GET LOST when they quite clearly couldn't because even Damaru's not that stupid.

Frankly, I think having the game take place in your world's recent past, at least without declaring it non-canon, was a bad call from the start because it put a rail on everything. I doubt you had any intentions of ever diverging from the plot you laid out based on user input. And that is, what I think, doomed this. Even Andrew-boy knows that a good gamecomic does not always go in the direction the GM set. Unlike other forms of adventure game like gamebooks and interactive fiction games, it's molded by the hivemind's player input. The fact you have everything planned out in detail suggests to me that you couldn't handle that.
